Aromatherapy
What is the good of your stars and trees, your sunrise and the wind, if they do not enter into our daily lives?

Aromatherapy is herbal medicine in a unique form adding depth to the herbalist’s tool box. It is the art of using the concentrated essence of an aromatic plant to bring balance and awareness to the body, clarity to the mind and connection to spirit.
Most commonly used on the skin and through olfaction, it is fast acting, non toxic, calming us and centering us quickly.
One of the most beautiful aspects of aromatherapy is it does not need to be taken internally, thus bypassing the digestive system, although with correct application they can be used internally. The action of the olfactory receptors work directly in the limbic brain and the tiny molecules of the essential oils are able to pass the blood brain barrier. The limbic brain influences the endocrine system and the autonomic nervous system. This is where our memories and emotions are stored. The simple act of breathing in is healing especially on the subtle levels of our being -the psychospiritual level. Essential oils also stimulate the hypothalamus, pineal, and pituitary glands.
Essential oils facilitates the body to communicate with itself. The life force of the plant plays with our life force, enlivens us and ignites us. Healing is founded on the experience of infinity, your own timelessness of your own nature. We carry in our blueprint, held in luminous energy fields, imprints and signatures left from previous existences. Essential oils can guide you to access these parts of you through meditation and contemplation. They also heal from the outside inward on a physiological level. The essential oils have affinities to certain tissues and actions on the body/mind. They nourish the skin, balance sebum, proliferate cell rejuvenation, lift our moods, calm us, clear airways, aid expectoration, stimulate circulation, boost immunity, kill pathogens, support hormones, aid cognitive function, remove toxins, relieve pain and so much more. Knowing the oils and the carrier oils allow for efficacy and safety. As the skin is our largest organ it often gives us clues about our internal environment. Many manifestations of imbalance show up on the skin and can as well be brought back into balance via the skin. Essential oils and their carrier oils have many joyfully applications enhancing daily life through hygiene, house cleaning, skin nourishment and beautifying, first aid, sleep, relaxation, spiritual practice, mental focus and much more.
